Evidence based research has changed the way we care for wounds. Wound care has evolved as we have grown to understand the variety of wounds and the conditions that favor their treatment or those that create an environment for worsening. This program will offer the nurse an opportunity to hone wound assessment skills, identify evidence based principles of wound management ,and improve patient outcomes.
