How do I register?
This Independent study program, Infection Control Practices and Barrier Precautions, OLN-I-828-06 offered by Continuum Health Partners has been approved for 2.0 contact hours by the Ohio Board of Nursing through the approver unit at the Ohio League for Nursing (OBN-006-92).

Course Description:
Upon completion of this course, the independent study participant will:
• Describe how bloodborne pathogens may be transmitted in the work environment to patients and providers
• Describe how to apply infection control principles
• Describe how to minimize transmission of pathogens
• Describe how HCW’s can protect themselves and their patients from transmitting pathogens
