Course Description: The Beatrice Renfield Division of Nursing Education and Research and Continuing Education is providing this 11- day Critical Care Course, which will provide the RN with the knowledge base required for critical care nursing practice at the basic to intermediate level. The focus of this intensive course is the assessment and management of the critically ill patient, with an emphasis on the identification and integration of patho-physiological data into critical thinking and decision-making.
The AACN Contact Hour approved course is designed for registered professional nurses and other healthcare professionals who are interested in Critical Care Nursing but not necessarily working in Critical Care. It's taught by CCRN faculty leaders in addition to other expert instructors.
