Course Description:
During Asian Health Secrets workshop, Letha will cover Asian miracle foods, herbs, and Chinese qi gung movements for enhanced vitality and stress reduction. Aromatherapy with organic essential oils are useful for prevention of burnout, female complaints, and colds and flu prevention/treatment.
Traditional diagnosis and healing modalities found in the class text Asian Health Secrets: The Complete Guide to Asian Herbal Medicine (Three Rivers Press) will be covered in the workshop along with mailorder and online sources for natural products. Practical hands-on experience can help you to prevent problems such as chronic pains, insomnia, menstrual and menopausal discomforts, and poor mental focus. Qi Gong movement and breath exercises help the tired health professional as well as the asthmatic or arthritic patient to feel better.
Instructor: Letha Hadady, D.AC. is the author of “Asian Health Secrets: The complete guide to Asian Herbal Medicine” and other books on complementary Asian herbalism and rejuvenation. She is an herbalist and certified acupuncturist and has worked with doctors and practitioners of traditional Asian medicine.
