Course Description: 

Knowing that “time is muscle” will prepare you to manage effectively and expediently the patient with chest pain. 

Outlining the steps for providing care, which include assessment, problem identification, planning, intervention and evaluation, will give you the confidence to manage the chest pain patient quickly and appropriately.

In this course you will address the following:

  1. angina
  2. causes, symptoms , diagnoses and therapies for AMI
  3. EKG changes for ischemia and injury
  4. thrombolytic contraindications
  5. cardiac enzymes
  6. cause of chest pain other than AM
