School Violence Prevention Program is presented by Continuum Services.

Continuum Services, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. 

Online School Violence Prevention Course is assigned approval code 7TPNYS-PRV-110 and has been awarded 2.0 contact hours.

System Requirements: Speakers or headphones are required.

Contact Hours: 2.0

Course Description: Chapter 181 of the Laws of 2000 established a new one time requirement for the individuals who apply for certification as teaching assistants, teachers, pupil personnel service professionals and school administrations. These individuals must complete two hours of School Violence Prevention and Intervention Training Course.

Continuum Services has been approved by the New York State of Education Department as a provider of this course work and assigned provider #0105.
