Course Description: This AACN Contact Hour approved course is designed for registered professional nurses and other healthcare professionals who work in settings requiring cardiac telemetry. This course provides essential training and education in EKG Arrhythmia Interpretation needed by inpatient and outpatient health care professionals.
Introduction to Electrocardiography and analysis of rhythm strips is the focus of this class. This 3-day program is a core module in the Critical Care Core Course offered by the Continuing Education Department You will learn basic electrocardiography, normal cardiac rhythms, atrial arrhythmias, junctional arrhythmias, ventricular arrhythmias, and heart blocks. Clinical symptoms and treatment modalities are also taught.
AACN Contact Hours available and a certificate provided upon successful completion of the Exam.
