to the Office of Continuing Education at Continuum
Health Partners associated with
the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing. We are an NYSNA approved provider
of continuing education credits for nurse education .
Nurses, teachers, social workers, respiratory therapists, occupational and
physical therapists as well as other professionals who work in health or school
services can take courses to meet their continuing education requirements and
interests.
We offer traditional primarily nurse education workshops and
lecture based programs on specific dates and in varied NYC locations. We are
expanding our offerings to include more nurse education online courses .
With support from the Hillman Foundation, we are striving to add quality
traditional and online courses meeting the needs of Hillman Alumni and nurses
everywhere.
We also provide interactive, streamed online presentations of the NY
State mandated courses in Infection Control
, Child Abuse Identification and
Reporting, School Violence Prevention, 12 Lead EKG Interpretation: Visualizing for MI’s, Time is Muscle : Responding to Chest Pain, Hepatitis C, Bioterrorism.
These programs are real presentations of the live class as opposed to
text-based readings. They are followed by the ability to print your certificate
on the spot!

School Violence Prevention Course OnlineChapter 181 of the Laws of 2000 established a new one time requirement for the individuals who apply for certification as teaching assistants, teachers, pupil personnel service professionals and school administrations. Time is Muscle : Responding to Chest PainKnowing that “time is muscle” will prepare you to manage effectively and expediently the patient with chest pain.
